lets see here...

thursday: i was going to vb conditioning, and we ran only 2 laps and then we got ice cream and it was over.  that was really cool! 

then later that day i went to the sidewalk sale and only bought 2 francis shirts. they weren't even on sale, haha.  but that's ok...

we ate at vermont street bbq and it was delicious.  i had never eaten there before.

friday: amber and zach came over and we went swimming and played apples to apples.  i also helped out in the nursery for bible school. 

saturday: i went to the farmer's market for once.  it was a lot bigger than it was the last time i came.  it was really fun, and the weather was perfect. 

then i had a cello lesson...my last lesson was in march!  so i had a nice long break and now it's time to start playing again. 

that evening i went to a drive-in movie.  it was definitely a different experience, but cool.  i saw pirates of the caribbean 2. i liked it better than the first one, it was really good.  but i got home really late. 

so now i think i'm going to go take a nap.

wow, it's been a very long time.  i was always just too lazy to update, and a lot of people quit xanga for myspace, but i think i'll stick with xanga. 

anyway.  i guess i'll start from where i left off.  Volleyball camp at k-state was alright, i became good friends with my roomate.  it was tough at times, but good for me i guess. 

institute was absolutly amazing!  even better than last year.  i love my care group and i miss it already.  i feel like i have a better relationship with god now. 

oh i took driver's ed and that was really pretty boring.  i passed the test so now all i have to do is the driving part.  and, my driver's permit expired so i can't drive until i get my restricted. 

last week the lawrence children's choir went to montana, and it was so much fun! we got there by bus...but it really wasn't too bad at all.  we went rafting, swimming, and saw mount rushmore.  we also got to meet and hear people sing from other countries.  except when we sang our big concerts, there was no air conditioning because they were recording, and it was sooooo hot! 

then monday night we had our last 2 softball games, i was tired since we had just got back from montana. i didn't play too well, but we still won, so it was good.  i'm really gonna miss my team because like all of them are going to free state.  oh, and there was an article in the newspaper about our team in the game section.  (i was in montana for that game..but oh well.) 

now everything is starting to slow down without softball, and without going places anymore.  i'll miss it, but it's also nice to relax.   

there's not a whole lot going on now i guess. 

i went to worlds of fun with my family and second cousins on sunday.  but i had to leave early for a softball game.  it was ok though.  we won. 

then yesterday i had another softball game.  i also did volleyball conditioning yesterday and today and my abs are really sore.  today we used jump ropes...let me tell you that's a great workout! 

uhh yesterday i had a dentist appointment for a filling. and it felt so funny to bite my lip while it was numb and now it hurts where i bit it. and it's a tiny bit swollen. 

tomorrow i leave for k-state volleyball camp and i'll be back on saturday.  i don't know anyone there so hopefully i'll meet people. 

then on monday i leave for institute all week.  i'm super excited about that.  except that kiara can't come....  oh well.

this summer has been good i suppose. 

last week i went to colorado with my family for awhile.  It was fun.  we got to go to six flags, the mountains, an aquarium, and this red rocks open air theater.  i also drove for 4 hours during the trip.  that's the first time i did highway driving.  and i must say i did a pretty good job. 

this week is lhs volleyball camp.  i am soooooo sore!!!  it's fun though.  hard work, but fun.  we split up into teams today and i'm on the purple cobras.  i'm the only sophomore on my team for the rest of the week too!  but it will make me a better player and it will be good for me. 

i also had a couple of softball games on monday.  we won both of them.  i got hit with a pitch on my ankle in the first game, but it only hurt that night. 

this weekend i get to go to world's of fun and i'm excited about that. 

uhh that's all i can think of.  i know there's more going on in my life though.  haha.

this week went by so fast, but looking back, it seems like last sunday was forever ago!  it's weird how that happens...

anyways, recognition was fun, and the speakers/singers were awesome!  i was very impressed. 

formal was fun too.  we got to ride in a limo and we almost went to the wrong restaurant.  haha, but at least we got to drive around more. 

today i went to a graduation party for 16 kids, it was a pretty big party, there was a dunk tank and volleyball, and a moonwalk, and more. 

today i also went to go see the DaVinci code with my youth group and it was very interesting.  now i need to read the book.
